Children are rarely to be given the rights to choose something they like, generally parents will make the choice and decision for them. This is not the right thing. What our parents need to do, is to find what they like and help them make their own choice and decision.
We have a friend, who have been trying almost every of our products during development, exactly speaking, his child tries since its 1 year old. One day he said to me, he found some products that we think are good may be not good in children’s mind, they may try 2 or 3 times, then rarely touch them again, but some products that we think are common may be the most interesting or useful thing for children. This has been quite inspiring for our whole business.
It now becomes the goal of our business, to find the things that children are really interested in. From our designers, to our engineers, we all work towards this goal. Before we put a product into market, we must test them by our own children. We are looking for something that children can repeatedly use through their childhood. We decide that each product we bring into market, must be something.
